Sentosa beach walk

Last Friday on 6 June, I went to Sentosa with my mother, brother and sister. Below are some of the things we saw. Thanks to the guides from Naked Hermit Crab.

This is a poisonous red egg crab.

This pair of Horseshoe crabs are mating.
The male is smaller than the female.

This is a small cave that can be seen during low tide.

If you want to see more pictures, go to my sister's or my brother's blog.

Hi Matthew,

You have lovely photos on your blog!

Isn't it great that you still can see so many marine creatures on Sentosa shores? The coastal horseshoe crabs that you saw on Friday are quite rare. In fact this species is classified as 'vulnerable' in Singapore. I am sure you and your siblings will be able to help in conservation efforts of Singapore's natural heritage when you grow up. Happy nature exploring! From auntie Ley Kun

Hi Matthew,

Awesome pictures! We went to the Pasir Ris beach and saw a pair of horseshoe crabs mating as well, but the water was murky so our picture turned out all brown and you couldn't see the horseshoe crabs! It was like a camouflage photo! Ha ha.

But ... er ... your one post was so long ago! :) Please post more so I can come back to read more about your beach walks! Looking forward to it.
